Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F (175C) and grease and flour your bundt pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
- Alternately add dry ingredients and buttermilk into the mixture until just combined; do not overmix.
- Pour batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar with fresh lemon juice until smooth; drizzle over cooled cake.
