- 1 oz Lemon Verbena Syrup
- ½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 3 oz Dry Prosecco
- 1 oz Soda Water
- Fresh Lemon Verbena Leaves (3 to 4)
- Ice Cubes (as needed)
- Lemon Slice (for garnish)
Instructions
- If not using prepared syrup, create lemon verbena syrup by simmering equal parts water and sugar with fresh lemon verbena leaves until dissolved. Cool and strain.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add lemon verbena syrup and fresh lemon juice, along with torn lemon verbena leaves.
- Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice cubes.
- Gently pour in dry Prosecco and add a splash of soda water.
- Stir gently with a long spoon and garnish with a slice of lemon and fresh lemon verbena leaves.
