Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a mini muffin pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk melted butter with granulated sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla; whisk until smooth.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gently fold until just combined. Stir in mini chocolate chips if desired.
- Spoon batter into the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until tops are set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
