  3. In another bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, orange juice, hot coffee, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined; fold in orange zest.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. While cooling, prepare frosting by mixing softened butter with powdered sugar, cocoa powder, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and orange zest until smooth.
