Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Gradually stir in warm water until a dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour until doubled.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Punch down the risen dough and divide into about 12 pieces; shape into sticks.
- Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and salt; brush over hot breadsticks after baking. Garnish with chopped parsley.
