- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin or flank steak (thinly sliced)
- 3 bell peppers (red, green, yellow)
- 1 medium onion (sliced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- Optional: red pepper flakes
- Optional: sesame oil
Instructions
- Season the thinly sliced beef with salt and pepper.
- Layer the seasoned beef in the slow cooker and top with bell peppers and onion.
- Whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, garlic, brown sugar, and optional red pepper flakes; pour over the meat and vegetables.
- Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes, mix cornstarch with cold water and stir into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
- If desired, add sesame oil before serving.
