Ingredients

  • ½ cup red candy melts
  • ½ cup blue candy melts
  • 2 cups Rice Chex cereal (divided)
  • 6 tablespoons confectioners sugar (divided)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
  • ½ cup red (white & blue M&Ms)
  • ½ cup yogurt covered raisins
  • 2 cups yogurt covered pretzels

Instructions

  1. Melt red candy melts with 1 tablespoon of vegetable shortening using a double boiler or microwave.
  2. Place 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar in a large zip-close baggie.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of Rice Chex into the melted red candy until coated.
  4. Transfer coated cereal into the baggie and shake to coat with powdered sugar. Use a sieve to remove excess sugar before cooling on parchment paper.
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 for blue candy melts using the second cup of Rice Chex.
  6. Once cooled, combine both batches in a mixing bowl with yogurt-covered pretzels, M&Ms, and yogurt-covered raisins.
  7. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
