Instructions
- In a blender, puree the sliced peaches until smooth. If desired, strain through a fine mesh sieve for a silkier texture.
- Juice the lemons to yield about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and sugar over medium heat until dissolved. Let cool.
- In a large pitcher, mix together the peach puree, lemon juice, cooled sugar-water mixture, and remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir well.
- Serve over ice in tall glasses and garnish with mint leaves or lemon slices if desired.
