Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion halfway through cooking until softened. Stir in minced garlic for an additional minute.
- Drain excess grease and transfer the mixture into your slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together the beef broth and tomato paste until smooth; pour this over the meat in the slow cooker.
- Add diced tomatoes, beans, and all seasonings to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until flavorful.
