Ingredients
- 3 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from the beef chuck roast and season with salt and pepper.
- Layer sliced onion at the bottom of the slow cooker; place seasoned beef on top.
- Pour crushed tomatoes, beef broth, garlic, and Italian seasoning over the beef.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until fork-tender.
- Shred the cooked beef with two forks and return to sauce; stir well before serving.
