- 1–2 Tbsp heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- Warm the milk and combine it with sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit until foamy.
- Mix in eggs and salt, then gradually add flour and butter to form a smooth dough.
- Allow the dough to rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size.
- Cook diced apples in butter with sugar and spices until softened; fold in pecans.
- Roll out the dough, spread the apple filling, roll tightly, and cut into pieces.
- Let rolls rise again before baking at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes.
- Prepare cream cheese frosting by mixing softened butter and cream cheese with powdered sugar; frost cooled rolls.
