- 4–6 tea bags (black tea recommended)
- 8 cups water (2 cups for brewing, 6 cups for diluting)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar (adjustable)
- Fresh berries and mint for garnish
- Ice
Instructions
- Wash and slice strawberries, then puree them in a blender until smooth.
- In a medium saucepan, boil 2 cups of water; steep tea bags for 15-20 minutes.
- Combine strawberry puree and sugar with 1 cup of water in another saucepan; simmer until syrupy.
- Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl.
- Mix brewed tea and strawberry syrup in a large pitcher; add remaining cold water.
- Chill in the refrigerator until completely cold.
- Serve over ice, garnished with fresh berries and mint.
