- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup apple cider
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- For crust: ¼ cup granulated sugar + 1 tsp ground cinnamon + 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices until well mixed.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugars, and eggs until smooth. Add apple cider and vanilla; mix until combined.
- Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45–50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While baking, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
- Once baked and slightly cooled, brush the top of the loaf with melted butter and sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar.
