- 1 lb raw large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb fresh salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Gather ingredients and rinse shrimp under cold water; pat dry.
- Toss shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning; let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer; cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, sear salmon fillets skin-side down for about 4 minutes on each side until crispy.
- Reduce heat, add chicken broth and heavy cream to the skillet; stir well, scraping up bits from the bottom. Add lemon juice and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return shrimp to the skillet to warm through for an additional minute before serving.
