Ingredients
- 1 puff pastry sheet
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/4 cup artichokes, chopped
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/8 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Thaw the puff pastry sheet and cut it in half.
- In a mixing bowl, combine spinach, artichokes, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until well mixed.
- Spread the mixture evenly on one half of the pastry; cover with the other half.
- Cut into six even strips and twist each strip into a swirl shape.
- Brush with an egg wash made from one beaten egg mixed with 1 tsp water.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 22–24 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
