Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In one bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and gently fold in strawberries until just combined.
- Transfer batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While cooling, prepare the glaze by whisking together sugar, lemon juice, and warm water. Drizzle over cooled bread before serving.
