- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Spread 2/3 of the batter into the pan.
- In another bowl, mix cream cheese, pumpkin puree, sugar, egg, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger until smooth. Spread over brownie layer.
- Dollop remaining brownie batter on top and swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares.
