Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together cake flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the egg and mix in milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- Preheat the taiyaki pan over medium heat and lightly grease if necessary.
- Fill one side of each mold halfway with batter; add your chosen filling in the center; top off with more batter.
- Close the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
