- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 8 sheets rice paper wrappers
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in soy sauce and hoisin sauce until well combined. Add shredded carrots, bell peppers, and basil; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Soak one rice paper wrapper in warm water for about 10-15 seconds until soft. Lay flat on a clean surface.
- Place a portion of the beef mixture on one edge of the wrapper, fold sides over the filling, and roll tightly from the edge closest to you.
- Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling. Serve arranged on a platter with optional dipping sauces.
