- 2 cans (29 oz each) peaches in heavy syrup
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 5 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder

- 2 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 pinch nutmeg (small pinch)
- 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup melted unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pour one can of peaches with juice into a 9×13 inch baking pan. Drain the second can and add the peaches without juice.
- In the baking pan, mix melted butter, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract with the peaches.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Spread this mixture evenly over the peach filling.
- Drizzle melted butter over the topping and bake for 15 minutes at 400°F before reducing to 375°F for another hour until golden brown.
