Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cake flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- Cream the cold butter with light brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth using a stand mixer or hand mixer.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients along with the chopped chocolate and chocolate chips; mix on low speed until just combined.
- Scoop dough into balls using a cookie scoop and place on prepared sheets.
- Bake for 12 to 13 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool on sheets for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
