- 4 cups fresh tomatoes, chopped

Instructions
- Wash and chop the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces; place in a mixing bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add chopped basil to the tomatoes and pour the marinade over them; gently toss to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour to let flavors meld.
