  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  2. Slice zucchini lengthwise and layer them in the baking dish, sprinkling dried oregano over them.
  3. Spread half of the ricotta over the zucchini and spoon half of the marinara sauce on top. Repeat layers with remaining zucchini, ricotta, and marinara.
  4. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden.
  6. Let cool briefly, garnish with fresh basil, and serve warm.
