Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

- In another bowl, cream butter until smooth; gradually add sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg and extracts until combined.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough to about ¼ inch thick on a floured surface and cut into desired shapes.
- Bake for about 12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden; cool before decorating.
