Ingredients
- 1 store-bought angel food cake
- 2 containers (8 oz each) whipped topping (thawed)
- 1 container (7 oz) marshmallow creme
- 2–3 teaspoons almond extract
- Assorted berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
- Fresh mint (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the berries by cleaning and cutting them into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine one container of whipped topping with marshmallow creme until smooth. For easier mixing, microwave the marshmallow creme for 30 seconds before adding.
- Gently fold in the second container of whipped topping and add almond extract.
- Horizontally slice the angel food cake into thirds.
- On a serving platter, layer one third of the cake, followed by whipped topping and mixed berries. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Finish with extra berries on top and optional mint leaves for garnish.
- Chill before serving or enjoy immediately.
