- 1 loaf of white bread
- 1/2 pound hard salami, sliced thin
- 1/2 pound cheddar cheese, sliced thin
- 2 to 3 tablespoons mayo
- 8 iceberg lettuce leaves, washed
Instructions
- Cut off the crusts from all slices of white bread.
- Spread a thin layer of mayo on each slice.
- Layer one slice of salami and one slice of cheddar on half the bread slices; add a small piece of iceberg lettuce on top.
- Assemble sandwiches by stacking two layered pieces together with another plain slice on top.
- Cut each sandwich into quarters and secure with toothpicks for easy handling.
- Pack the sandwiches in a large Tupperware for your beach adventure.
