- 4 apples (Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, Fuji)
- 12 oz dark chocolate (melted)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional)
- Assorted toppings (caramel, nuts, sprinkles, etc.)
Instructions
- Wash and dry the apples thoroughly before slicing them into 1/4 inch thick pieces.
- Insert popsicle sticks into the bottom of each slice for easy dipping.
- In a heat-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate using a microwave in 30-second intervals; stir frequently until smooth. Add coconut oil if desired.
- Dip each apple slice into the melted chocolate using a spoon to coat fully and allow excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place dipped slices on parchment paper and immediately add your favorite toppings before the chocolate hardens.
- Refrigerate or freeze until solid and enjoy!
