Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line three 8-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, sift together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Gradually stir in boiling water until combined.
- Divide batter among pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool layers in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
