- 2 pounds boneless chicken breasts or thighs
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons cold, salted butter, sliced

- 1/2 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
- 1 fresno pepper, seeded and sliced
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Fresh basil for garnish
- Steamed rice or naan for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a baking dish, toss chicken with chopped garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Top with slices of cold butter.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and stir in onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, chipotle chili powder, and fresno pepper. Remove from heat and whisk in honey and lime juice; add cilantro.
- Once chicken is baked, pour the sauce over it and serve with rice or naan.
