- 1 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 16.9 ounce bag mini M&Ms (divided)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together room temperature butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and kosher salt until just mixed. Fold in mini chocolate chips and 1 cup of mini M&Ms.
- Scoop dough into teaspoon-sized balls and press into additional mini M&Ms before placing on prepared sheets (24 per sheet).
- Bake for 6-8 minutes or until the bottoms are slightly golden. Allow cooling on the sheets before transferring to wire racks.
