- 1 1/4 cup (312.5ml) milk (2% or whole)
- 2/3 cup (132g) granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tbsp (15ml) vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (62.5g) all-purpose flour
- 2 cups (300g) ripe strawberries, hulled and halved
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and butter an 8-9 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined. Gradually add flour and salt, whisking until smooth.
- Place halved strawberries in the prepared baking dish and pour batter over them evenly.
- Bake for about 1 hour until puffed and golden brown with a slight wobble in the center.
- Let cool on a rack before serving warm or chilled with powdered sugar dusting.
