Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the strawberry cake mix, melted butter, and egg until smooth.
- Stir in softened cream cheese until fully combined.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls.
- Roll in powdered or pink sugar if desired.
- Place on baking sheets and bake for 8–10 minutes; edges should be set while centers remain soft.
- Press a chocolate kiss into each cookie after removing them from the oven.
- Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack before serving.
