- 6 medium apples
- 1 bag (14 oz / 400 g) Starburst candies
- 3 tbsp corn syrup
- ¼ cup water
- Gel food coloring
Instructions
- Wash and dry the apples thoroughly, then insert wooden sticks into each apple.
- In a saucepan over low to medium heat, combine Starburst candies, corn syrup, and water. Stir continuously until smooth.
- Add gel food coloring gradually until your desired shade is achieved.
- Quickly dip each apple into the melted candy mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
- For a swirled effect, use different colored melted candies while they are still warm.
- Place dipped apples on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let them cool until the candy hardens.
