- ¼ cup bourbon
- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 6 slices raw turkey bacon
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 3 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix the barbecue sauce and bourbon until well combined.
- Blend the turkey bacon with seasonings in a food processor until smooth.
- Coat chicken thighs with the turkey bacon paste.
- Assemble kebabs by threading coated chicken onto skewers.
- Grill kebabs for about 5 minutes on each side until nearly cooked through.
- Brush with bourbon barbecue sauce and grill for an additional minute on each side.
- Serve warm with extra sauce and garnished with fresh parsley.
